Add a gift registry to your storefront

Let shoppers build a registry — a wedding, baby, or wishlist page other people can buy from — without leaving your store.

Steps

  1. In Gift Reggie → Settings, turn on Enable registries.
  2. Choose where the "Create a registry" button appears: product page, account page, or both.
  3. Add the registry Section in your theme editor for full control over placement and styling, or use the default theme block.
  4. Save and preview: create a test registry from the storefront to confirm the flow looks right before announcing it.

Good to know

  • Registries respect your existing inventory and variant settings — an out-of-stock item shows as out-of-stock on the registry too.
  • Gift-givers never need an account to purchase from someone else's registry.
  • Registry owners get an email whenever an item is purchased, so duplicate gifts are rare.
