Schedule a recurring export

Set an export to run automatically instead of triggering it by hand every time.

Steps

  1. Open Xporter → Templates and pick the template you want to run on a schedule.
  2. Select Schedule, then choose a frequency — daily, weekly, or a custom cron-style interval.
  3. Pick a delivery method: email attachment, or drop the file straight into a connected Google Drive or FTP folder.
  4. Save. The first run happens at the next scheduled time, not immediately.

Good to know

  • Scheduled exports use the same column mapping as the template — edit the template, not the schedule, to change what's included.
  • If a scheduled run fails (for example, a mapped metafield was deleted), we email you the error instead of sending a broken file.
  • You can pause a schedule from the same Templates screen without deleting it.
